Dylan! This young man has earned my musical trust, respect and admiration. He once was a student at a school I taught at. I took him under my wing after he left school, and called him my “informal apprentice”.

Since then, he has followed most of my footsteps and always endeavoured to outdo me. I am proud of his accomplishments as opposed to feeling threatened by a potentially superior musician working in the same field. His teaching style is different to mine, he focuses on ear training. Our teaching styles both result in well-rounded musicians, we just use different paths to get there.
