Tailored music lessons from Finn Baulch and Dylan Burkleberry can bring the musical inspiration into your home if you are located in the Northcote and surrounding area. (Guitar, bass, uke… Pretty much anything with strings and frets).

We make our music lessons to cater to your individual needs, whether you are a complete beginner or an advanced player looking to refine your skills. We pride ourselves on creating a an inspiring environment where you can explore your passion for music, and take it to where you want to take it. Some are inspired by a gig, others daunted, same can be said about writing a song, or recording a cover. Some just want to play sing along songs by a campfire. Our goal is to equip you with the tools you need to take it wherever you want to go, but armed with confidence and creativity.

Dylan and I have 25 years of experience between us, we have both studied composition and audio at university, we have both worked professionally in the studio down to stage diving. We have the skillset and technology to get a student started from scratch to composing and recording their own songs and we are pretty good at it.

We have a deep-rooted love for music that we share with all our students, we aim to ignite your enthusiasm and motivate you through personalised lesson plans. Each session is tailored to your specific goals, ensuring that you stay engaged and inspired throughout your learning journey.

Hourly lessons are $89 and half hourly classes are $45 once a week. Invoicing for this service happens for the month, at the beginning of every month. Any postponed lessons are credited to next month.

As much as we find a good spot for 99% of everyone, spaces at preferred times can’t always be granted. If a working time can’t be sorted out, there is a waiting list that operates on a first in best dressed policy.

Dylan has a limited availability and Finn even more so. Normally I get lots of bookings around February, just a friendly heads up that this year coming will likely be more busy than the last and there are only so many slots. If you are keen to get in for lessons, I highly recommend getting your name in before the February rush. This $89 product acts as a deposit to secure your next available spot. (obviously refundable if you organise a different teacher if you need to wait).

The books “Know Your Stuff or S#>% go as support for the lessons. They contain all the theory you need to learn in the first 2 years or so. The lessons relates the song requests back to the theory in the book, so the student can choose their own adventure and learn to learn to independently. Check out the books here.
